![]() The mousepad is the best i have ever had (in terms of speed and how smooth it is) and i’ve been through the Corsair MM300 the Steelseries Qck heavy, the Glorious cloth pad, and this is by far the best of them all, but it has one major issue that i really dislike. If you can point us in the right direction. Something wrong with this post? Thanks for letting us know. I will keep coming back either for replacement orders or new products. My ROB Strata is on the way and I can’t wait to get my hands, and mouse, on it! Great mouse pads and innovation being done by X-Raypad. The price of the Thor and Aqua pads are very competitive and they have improved (lowered) the shipping costs to the US since I was last here. If you want one of the fastest pads available and can live with only moderate control, definitely try the Thor. If control is a high priority for you, then you will probably be better off purchasing the Aqua Control+ ROB Strata here from X-Raypad. The stopping power is acceptable, but not exceptional. Glide is very fast and smooth, the real issue for me is there is not enough control with this pad. It did however last longer than a G640 for me personally, which is nice. It will likely last most users longer than it lasted me and wear is something we all deal with using cloth pads, just don’t expect it to be a very long lasting pad. ![]() Unfortunately I wear through coated cloth pads very quickly, the Thor is no exception. "Then just rinse it in cold water gently and not put it in the washing machine. The Thor is a fast cloth pad that has a coated surface similar to the G640. "Very warm water, just a little bit of liquid dish soap in the sink," Corsair recommends. "Putting it into the washing machine to clean is not recommended by us." "Most people will use some soap and water to clean their mouse pads and then let it air dry," HyperX told us. Both agreed on simple hand washing and that a washing machine is not a good idea. I asked two makers of comically large cloth mouse pads, Corsair and HyperX, about their mouse pad cleaning best practices, just to make sure this was the best approach. How manufacturers recommend you clean your mouse pad If you're using a plastic or hard surface mouse pad, a damp washcloth should do the trick, since those are easier to spot clean. Our best recommendation for cleaning a cloth gaming mouse pad is merely using a squirt of dish soap, warm water, a sponge or washcloth, and some good ole fashioned elbow grease to rub out the stain. This means sticking it in the microwave, blasting it with a hairdryer, or letting it spin around in hot water are all terrible ideas. Heat is also the enemy the rubber used in most mouse pads has a pretty low melting point. ![]()
